Measure the shell
Type the width and length, or drag the corners until the outline matches your floor. Doors and windows snap onto whichever wall you drop them on.
Put in the real measurements, place the furniture, and step inside to find out whether the sofa actually gets past the door. It runs in your browser and there is nothing to install.

The whole thing is one page. Nothing uploads, nothing installs, and you can close the tab halfway through and export what you have.
Type the width and length, or drag the corners until the outline matches your floor. Doors and windows snap onto whichever wall you drop them on.
Drag furniture into place at true size, rotate it, stack a chair on a chair. Dimension lines follow whatever you have selected.
Switch to 3D and walk the room in first or third person. Furniture blocks you, exactly as it would at home.
Real screenshots, not mock-ups. Everything here is drawn by the tool itself.
No modes to learn. Everything reacts on the same canvas.
W A S D and the mouse, shift to run. You cannot walk through a desk, so a route that feels tight in the plan feels tight in the room. Walls switch between solid, ghosted and hidden when you want to look in from outside.
A chair on a chair, a monitor on a desk. It works out the height and refuses if the stack would hit your ceiling.
Park a wardrobe in a door swing and the arc turns red with a note telling you which piece is in the way.
Move the sun, set the light level, export the view at up to four times screen resolution.
Plans export as JSON and reopen later. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Somewhere between the back of an envelope and a licence you have to justify to somebody.

Ninety-two IKEA products carry their published measurements, and each one links to that product on your local IKEA site so you can check it before you buy. Sizes vary by market, so the link matters.

No. There is no sign-up and no server holding your work. Plans live in the browser until you export them, so keep a JSON copy of anything you care about.
The geometry is exact — everything is stored in centimetres and drawn to scale. The furniture sizes come from published product pages, which do change between markets and model years. For anything expensive, check the measurement on the product page first.
Yes. The plan view takes touch input, and the walkthrough shows an on-screen pad instead of capturing the mouse. A bigger screen is more comfortable for detailed work.
Yes — add a custom piece with any width, depth and height, name it, and it behaves like everything else. That is the honest route for anything not in the catalogue.
No. The catalogue lists published dimensions so you can plan around real products, and links to IKEA's own site. IKEA is a trademark of Inter IKEA Systems B.V.
